
A developer has gained permission to start building 45 new homes near Bracknell. Taylor Wimpey said the reserved matters consent from Bracknell Forest Council means construction can begin in spring.
The 45 energy-efficient properties will be built on land east of Maize Lane and west of Old Priory Lane in Warfield, which will be known as The Skylarks. They will form the initial phase of construction, with 305 homes in total set to be built on the greenfield site.

A mix of one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three, four and five-bedroom houses will be available to purchase, of which 25 per cent will be classed as affordable housing.

Planning consent also comes with the obligation from Taylor Wimpey to contribute towards essential facilities and services in the area.
